The Levi’s Music Project is an ongoing platform to support music education with leading musicians. For eight years (and still running) we connected Levi’s with musicians and their hometown communities to build youth music programs. The program was expanded globally via toolkits we provided for regional teams to activate locally. Artists we worked with included Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keyes, Snoop Dogg, SZA, Vince Staples, Khalid, and paved the way for projects in the UK with Skepta, Spain with Rosalia, and many more. I worked in close one-to-one collaboration with these artists to craft each activation, identify community partners, and bring in the artist’s celebrated friends to participate.
