Next Wav was an ongoing event platform that brought musicians and fans together for free educational resources and performances. In NYC we hosted an installation by Bronx-born artist Uzumaki Cepeda, a custom-built recording studio, arcade games, and portrait studio. Fivio Foreign, Girll Codee, and Ice Spice performed for the intimate room. At SXSW’s Next Wav, we held a hands-on workshop for recording vocals in any environment with the local non-profit Dub Academy. The venue graphics were designed by local visual artists Ian Orth, Pooneh Ghana, and Kate Dehler, known for their fliers, posters, and album art.
