I was the creative director of Sonos Studio: the world’s first gallery dedicated entirely to sound. A permanent venue in Los Angeles that showcased Sonos technology by offering it as a resource for experiences. I worked with leading names in music in tandem with installation artists for new creative possibilities. All programming was grounded in sound or technology and promoted immersive listening experiences.

Over three and a half years, Sonos Studio became the way Sonos brand showed up in the world: twice at SXSW, once for a week-long pop-up in New York City, and eventually another permanent venue in London. I created installations working directly in collaboration with artists like Beck, Tom Kuntz, Dan Deacon, Diplo, and The xx. As well as workshops, screenings, and intimate performances by Solange, Danny Brown, Blood Orange, Moby, Schoolboy q, Raekwon, Peanut Butter Wolf, Scientist, Booker T. Jones, Jimmy Cliff, Nosaj Thing, Kamasi Washington, and many many more. Content-rich events at each location invited millions around the world to enjoy videos and follow along with online editorial content.
